How hard it is to read the book of Revelation?

My friend and I have a lot of discussion about the book of Revelation, and some others around the end of the world scenario. I’m not saying I believe it or not, or even that I am a Christian. I’m just a curious person who likes to read. So, how difficult it is to read the book of Revelation? Thus it is written that the old style of English that makes it difficult to understand today. ? Also for the whole story I have read other books of the Bible Best answer:

2012 is some heathen calendar…it means nothing….IT WILL BE A FEW MORE years since Rapture has not yet happened. This is the beginning of sorrows..

I mean, i figure that is the final battle where all the religions of the world finally succeed in killing one another if I have my interpretation of Revelations, correct?

So after all the jihads and crusades and Revelations battles are finished, do we atheists and agnostics get to inherit the earth?
