If you read Revelations you will see that the world will never end.

How close no one can say.
A one world government is prophesied, so knowing the end beforehand, look at the present events to see the direction things are moving to get to that prophecy.
Consider also the obvious things which must happen…borders of countries will most likely not exist, a medium of exchange suitable for the world must come into existence (think of the mark everyone must have in order to buy or sell) and so on.
Things are moving in the directions for all to come to pass.
When studying prophetic verses, remember that these things are not just what will be, but what must be. A forthtelling of the natural outcome of situations.
These things are beyond the human’s ability to foresee, but not for God…and He has chosen to warn us in advance.
yes it is close we are living in the ‘last days’ as the bible puts it.not literal days of course.things are coming true we are in the last book of the bible revelations i’d say after all of it comes true the end will come.

Other than that there have been a lot of speculations about the stage being set for the ‘Anti-Christ’ such as, chips that can be implanted in the forehead or right hand, the eurodollar taking over the world, and on and on and on… wew! Anyways, we could be living in the last days, so do not let the love of God grow cold in your heart. Again, do not let your love grow cold. This was Jesus’ message to us. To be alert, but also to live the best life that we can for the glory of God. It’s been my experience that people who get too raped up in eschatology end up neglecting their personal relationship with God. Hopefully that isn’t the case with you…
I believe that we are VERY close to the end of this system of things. Man is ruining the earth, and the Bible tells us at Revelation 11:18 that those ruining the earth will be brought to ruin. So since the earth is very near to being ruined completely, we know this will happen soon. The tribulation will start when false religion is done away with completely. That’s when the kings will weep in anguish at the burning (or destruction) of Babylon the Great. (Rev. 18: 9, 10) And when the Kings (or Governments) turn their attention to destroying God’s people, then that’s when the final blow will come, and all the wicked in the earth will be done away with forever.
We dont know. God has an appointed time and its not for man to know. He gave us a list of things that have to happen first but they can only be measured in a subjective way and werent meant for us to use to predict anything.
We need to focus on the principles behind those signs and apply our lives toward those principles.
I would say we have gone far to preach the Gospel to all the world but there is still work ahead of us.
No man know the day or the hour, only our Father in Heaven. There are signs in the world that the time is coming near. When people talk about the end of the world it is the world as we know it. The earth will not be destroyed.
Mat 24:32 ¶ Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer [is] nigh:
Mat 24:33 So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things, know that it is near, [even] at the doors.
Mat 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled
If you know about the fig tree you will know that Jesus was talking about Israel. When it is branch is tender refers to it being a young nation. It wasnt until 1948 that Israel became a nation again. They had not been a nation in almost 2000 years. It is this generation that Jesus was talking about that would not pass away. Another scripture that says that Israel would be born in one day.
Isa 66:8 Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? [or] shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.

Another sign that can be clearly seen is from Daniel.
Dan 12:4 But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
Daniel it talks about people moving to and fro. From the beginning of time until the 20th century the best form of transportation was a horse. Now we have cars, trains, jets etc. Knowledge has increased many time over. I read somewhere there is more information in one weeks worth of the New York Times than a man living in the 1800s would come across in a lifetime. We live in the information age.

Sounds like nuclear warfare to me. An H bomb can produce heats of 150 million degrees. That would cause flesh to melt while you were standing up before your bones fell to the ground.
If you want to watch the news keep an eye on Putin and Russia. I have seen on the news he is taking them back to the cold war era and is building a military power. Another thing to watch is Mahmoud Ahmadinejad the president of Iran. He wants to wipe Israel off the face of the earth and Russia is helping them get nuclear power. Here is a speach that Ahmadinejad gave to the UN. In part 4 he talks about the chosen one. He thinks it is his job to usher in this chosen one. According to Muslim beliefs their chosen one will bring world peace, he will ride a white horse, he will sign a seven year peace treaty with Israel among other things.
